Fundraising @ The Clova

Book the Clova for your non-profit group and sell tickets to a movie event. Any money you raise above our costs of $150 or $300 per film is yours to keep.  It is $150 if you play a movie we are playing that week (We book on Monday for a Friday start so you don’t have much notice.) Otherwise the movie is $300-$350 for an older movie. You set your price for tickets. The profits you make are entirely up to you! The theatre holds 281 people, so a successfully driven fund raiser could make your group significant cash.

Some groups host movie sleep-overs while others come weekend mornings at 10:30am or late afternoon at 4:00 pm or even after school at 3:30 or 4:00. We are open to bookings anytime that our regular shows are not scheduled for. Give us a call and we can discuss a date and some movies to show.

The Small Print:

• We require a nonrefundable $75 deposit within 10 days of booking. The balance to be paid on the show date. Or you can just pay the full $150. We have a mail slot available in case we are not open at the time you come. We accept cash or cheque only, and ask that you have your name, date, and time of the event with the deposit.

• There must be at least two teachers / administrators / parents / coaches for the duration of the movie(s) to enforce rules and discipline. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your event, doors open 30 minutes prior.

• We ask you to print this on your tickets.  We may search bags and jackets for outside food.

• Please avoid selling tickets at the door before show time as this causes unnecessary commotion and headaches. You may want to charge extra for tickets at the door to encourage this.

• In accordance with studio policy the names of the movies MUST NOT appear on the tickets.
